today i received a letter from a 9 year old me. my 4th grade teacher had us write letters to ourselves to read when we are seniors and she saved them and mailed them out. here is mine (as it is):
Dear Abby,
Im in 4th grade. Im 9. My teacher is Mrs. Taylor. I go to Abby Renkie Elementary School. Right now you are a senior in High School and your graduating. My school year is almost over. I dont have a favorite band. My favorite movie is Harry Potter and the prisoner of Askabon. My favorite book is Where the Red fern grows. I have a 12 year old sister who is probly 20-21 in your time. I have one dog named Lucky who is probly dead now. And another dog who is probly alive. Two turtles who are probly alive and my two cats can be alive. I hope i have a monkey in your time because they are cute and furry. My best friends are Mariah and Summer. My mom is taking college right now to be a parent coach. I play violin. And I hope I am in a band playing classical eletric violin that they use on a song I like witch I dont know the name so I can’t name it. My hobby is collecting faries (witch my room is decorated in) benie babys and bb shots. My favorite one is Mr. Greenie.
I had fun in 4th grade when I learned how to do the bar. Also when Mariah came over to my house to swim. We had a resturaunt that served Margaritas Made out of apple sause and fruit punch. I also liked when I went to her house and we opened a buisness named craft central. where we made stuff that her mom and dad and sister and brother ordered like a drive trough.
Right now there is a war in Iraq. Hussuien bombed the world trade center. President Regan died and I wacthed the funeral on the TV. We are voting for a new president and I hope it will be Gorge Bush.
I sure do hope that you didnt throw away my nice grades. I hope that you put me in a band playing eletric violin and sining. And it is not okay if you made a fool of yourself at the prom. And I hope you didnt go with Austin. I want to be in band and still have my two best friends. I hope I wore a sparkly pink dress with a big fluffy flower with a diamond in it. I hope I wore that to the prom. My favorite subject is reading and I hope it still is. I hope I wont do drugs. I sorta know I wont do drugs. If i get to choose my subjects I hope dont pick math but every thing else especially Library.
As and adult I want to go to acting school. I am a little shy but I love to act. If I have spare time I want to design clothes for dogs, cats and birds.
Please dont make and mistakes and dont do drugs. I hope I get to go to acting school! Bye graduating class of 2012! Bye!
